The project aimed at sensizing the community on Eco Friendly Ganesh during Ganeshotsav, avoiding Plaster of Paris Ganesh Idols. A team of 6 Rotarians and Anns were trained during workshop organised by District. Couple of the team members were also involved in second workshop of further enhancement in skills and as an instructor in workshop. We further conducted workshop at the following locations 1. BSM Junior College, Mayur Colony - 220 students and teachers of Junior College 2. Shri Chaitanya Techno School Bavdhan - 200 students and teachers, parents 3. Ganesh Nisarg Society, Ambegaon - 50 residents were trained Participants enjoyed making their own Ganesh Idol for Ganeshotsav and were also given pledge to stop using plaster of paris Ganesh idols and engage in environment friendly behavior, contributing to saving nature.
